When you book a stay with us, you book the entire Gîte (holiday home): you have the entire river house to yourself so you can enjoy all the comforts the property offers undisturbed. Think of four bedrooms with wonderfully comfortable beds and private bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a cosy living room, and a beautiful garden with a terrace by the Dordogne.

You can book the four-bedroom house for a party of up to eight people. An extra cot and/or baby crib can be booked and your dog is also welcome.

Check-in and arrival time

Check-in is possible Mon-Fri between 16:00 and 19:00. If there is no other way and you still expect to arrive later, please email [email protected] in advance to arrange something else. Minimum stay is three nights.

Borg
The key deposit is €100 and is paid directly upon booking. 7 days after your stay, the deposit will be returned to your account.

Guided tour and tasting
A guided tour with wine tasting at Château Gort & Gort is possible from Monday to Friday at 16:00. Schedule this directly with your booking on a day of your choice. There is always room for guests of the Gîte.

Please note that the Château is closed on weekends. If you book a stay from Friday to Monday, the only possibility for a tour is on Friday at 4pm. The Château is also closed during harvest. The harvest closure usually falls between mid-September and mid-October. The Chateau shop is also closed during that period and we do not organise tours or tastings. But the good news is: the Gîte is open and there are lots of fun things to do in the area, so you're warmly bienvenue!

Check out
Check-out is possible until 10:00 at the latest. On the day of departure, we will be present in the Gîte to receive the keys again, to hear if everything was to your satisfaction.

We apply the following conditions when cancelling:

● 100% refund up to 4 weeks before arrival date;
● 50% refund up to 2 weeks before arrival date;
● No refunds within 2 weeks to arrival date, or if staying away without notice.
