Rates 

Château Gort Gîte can be booked for a party of up to eight people. An additional cot and/or baby crib can be booked.

Dogs are also welcome. 

You can rent the holiday home for a minimum of three nights. Check-in is possible on Monday to Friday. For stays of seven nights, you get one night free.

Rates vary by season:
- High season from 1 May - 30 September
- Low season from 1 October - 30 April

High season tariff
1 May to 30 September: € 290 per night.
€ 1,740 for a whole week (7 nights)*

Low season tariff
1 October to 30 April: € 220 per night
€ 1,320 for a whole week (7 nights)*

*With a reservation of 7 nights you get 1 night discount.

Additional options:

• I like to bring a dog: €50 per booking; 
• I would like one made-up cot extra: € 50; 
• I would like one made-up cot extra: €50. 

The price includes:

• Made beds and towels;
• Bottle of wine on arrival; 
• Final cleaning;
• Tourist tax of €1.09 per person per night; 
• Extensive guided tour with wine tasting at Château Gort & Gort for all guests (bookable Monday to Friday at 4pm). 

There is also possibility to buy wine in the Châteaushop au Château Gort & Gort, from Monday to Friday within opening hours. Payment is possible in cash and by pin. 

Note: on weekends, the Château is closed. Guided tours are only available Monday to Friday at 4pm. 

The Château is also closed during harvest. The harvest closure usually falls between mid-September and mid-October. The Chateau shop is also closed during this period and we do not organise tours or tastings. But the good news is: the Gîte does open and there are lots of fun things to do in the area, so you're warmly bienvenue!

Bookings

Château Gort Gîte can be booked via the booking module on the website: www.chateaugort-wijntoerisme.nl/gite. Payment is made directly during the booking, available payment methods: iDeal, PayPal and credit card. Payment is processed via payment platform Mollie. Confirmation of the booking will be sent by return e-mail.

General terms and conditions

Payment
Payments are made during the booking procedure, available payment methods: iDeal, PayPal and credit card. Any extras will be settled upon departure (pin or cash).
The key deposit is €100 and is paid directly upon booking. 7 days after your stay, the deposit will be returned to your account.

Cancellation policy
Château Gort Gîte is a small-scale Gîte, it is therefore extra annoying for us if you cancel.
We apply the following conditions when cancelling:
- 100% refund up to 4 weeks before arrival date;
- 50% refund up to 2 weeks before arrival date;
- No refunds within 2 weeks to arrival date, or if stay away without notice.

Unfortunately, no refunds are possible in case of early departure.
We recommend you take out proper travel and cancellation insurance yourself.

Château Gort Gîte can cancel the reservation agreement in case of force majeure, natural disaster, extraordinary weather conditions, fire, death of the owner or close family and hospitalisation.

Arrival and departure
Check-in is possible between 16:00 and 19:00 at Château Gort & Gort.
If there is no other way and you expect to arrive later, please email [email protected] in advance or call Meriam on +31 6 42 83 04 04 to make arrangements about this!

By agreement, you can deposit your belongings earlier.

At check-in, the main booker fills in the Fiche d'Hôtel, a mandatory registration form from the French government that asks for the name, place and date of birth, nationality and contact details of the main booker. 

Check-out by 10am; That also means handing in the keys. The deposit will be returned to your account about 7 days after check-out. Make sure the oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer are empty, and the rubbish is sorted in the appropriate bins in the kitchen.

C'est tout! We do the rest of the cleaning. 

Deposit keys
Upon check-in, guests will receive the keys to the Château Gort Gîte.

As a deposit, the guest pays €100 when booking the stay.
On departure, the guest returns the keys to Meriam or another member of the Gort & Gort équipe; for this purpose we will be present in the Gîte on the day of departure. The deposit will be returned to the booker's account approximately 7 days after check-out. If the keys are lost, broken or not returned, the guest will lose the deposit.

Internal regulations
Château Gort Gîte has a number of house rules:

• Refund
  If the guest makes a mess of things, and we have to ask this guest to leave in the worst case scenario, we cannot refund the remaining stay.
  
• Pets
  Dogs are welcome, cosy! You may bring your faithful four-legged friend to the Gîte, for which an additional €50 cleaning fee per booking will be charged.
  
• Smoking
  Smoking is not allowed in the premises. Please also do not leave cigarette butts on the ground in the street or garden. Please extinguish them properly and throw them in the ashtray or wastebasket.
  
• Nuisance
  The Château Gort Gîte is located in a small street with dear neighbours; so be careful not to make too much noise outside the Gîte. Also, in order not to disturb their peace, we ask you not to drive all the way down the street. If necessary, you can drop off your luggage at the Gîte and then drive backwards along the same path to the car park. Be careful not to drive into the ditch! 
  
• Taking visitors
  This is only allowed in consultation, and with the permission of the Gort & Gort équipe.
  
• Please do not bring furniture or other inventory outside.
  However, it is allowed to use glasses, plates, cutlery and tablecloths outside.
  
• Fire extinguishers and first aid kit are provided
  Fire extinguishers can be found in the kitchen, hallway and corridor on both floors. The first-aid box hangs in the stairs cupboard by the cleaning utensils.
  
• Sustainable
  We at Château Gort Gîte love nature and do our best to treat it as well as possible. We separate waste, will you help us?
  
  Waste bins are located in the kitchen. Cardboard, cans and plastic may be put together in the recycling bin, organic waste in the biodegradable waste bin, glass in the bottle bank and the remaining residual waste in the designated bin.

• Access and locking
  The Château Gort Gîte is all yours during your stay, we are only present in the Gîte during check-out. If you are not in the immediate vicinity of the Gîte, please lock doors and windows. The insurance does not cover damage in case of burglary. Property of the Château Gort Gîte lost through your fault, we unfortunately have to recover from you.
  
• Parking
  You can park at the beginning of the street, next to the rubbish containers. If necessary, you can drop off your luggage at the Gîte and then drive backwards along the same path to the car park; be careful not to drive into the ditch!
  The Château Gort Gîte is on a narrow street, which we share with our dear French neighbours. In order not to disturb their peace and quiet, we ask you not to drive all the way down the street. Parking at your own risk.

Liability
Guests of the Château Gort Gîte are themselves responsible for the safety of children and pets brought along. This applies inside the Gîte but also on the outside, such as the garden, terrace and playground.
The Château Gort Gîte undertakes to take appropriate measures after reporting nuisances caused by guests.

Did something break? If so, make a report of this to the Gort & Gort équipe as soon as possible. In case of serious damage caused by the guest, the deposit may be retained and insurance may also be involved. 

We recommend taking out a good travel and cancellation insurance policy yourself. 

Privacy
The Château Gort Gîte is responsible for the processing of personal data as reflected in our privacy statement.

Complaints
Do you have a complaint? Then report it to Meriam even during your stay; she will do everything to solve the problem as soon as possible.
In case of major emergencies that cannot wait until the next day, she can be reached at +31 6 42 83 04 04.
